How to listen to/play a podcast in iTunes
If you do not have iTunes, you will need to download the latest version from the Apple website. iTunes is free. Please follow the Apple instructions to install iTunes.
The following instructions describe how to locate and play a podcast episode that has been automatically downloaded to your computer through the iTunes program. These instructions assume you have already followed the instructions to subscribe to a podcast using iTunes.
- Launch iTunes.
- In the left column of iTunes, under "Library" click on "Podcasts". This will display the podcast library in the right window pane. Locate the NetQast podcast you subscribed to in the displayed library.
- Click the triangle next to the name of the podcast to see all of the episodes available.
- Double-click on the episode to play it.
- To download and play other episodes that appear grayed out in the iTunes library, double click on the episode or click on the "Get" button to the right of the episode name.
- Launch iTunes.
- Click on "File" in the iTunes menu bar.
- Locate and click on the "Add File to Library" menu option.
- Navigate to the location you saved the NetQast podcast episode, select the file and click the "Open" button.
- Locate the file in your iTunes library, double click on the podcast episode and the episode will start playing in iTunes.
