The first step in listening to a podcast on your iPad is to set up the transfer of the podcast episodes from the iTunes library to your iPad.

1. On your computer, launch iTunes.
2. Plug your iPad into your computer. iTunes will recognize the iPad and sync the iPad with your iTunes library.

   You may need to alter your iPad sync settings to ensure the podcast episodes are downloaded to your iPad during the sync process.

   1. After connecting your device to the computer, locate the "Devices" section in the left column of the program window. You should see your iPad listed.
   2. Single-click on the iPad name to display the sync settings in the right window pane.
   3. Select the "Podcasts" tab found at the top of the iPad sync settings.
   4. Locate the NetQast podcast you have subscribed to in the list of podcasts that is displayed.
   5. Make sure the check box next to the NetQast podcast is checked. If it is not, click the check box and then click the "Apply" button in the bottom right hand corner of the window.
   6. Then click the "Sync" button. The podcast episodes will now sync with your iPad.
3. Once the sync is complete, disconnect/eject your iPad per Apple's instructions and you are ready to play the podcast episode on your iPad.

1. In the list of apps on your iPad, locate the "iPod" application and touch the icon to launch the app.
2. In the "iPod" application locate the navigation menu.
   
   Locate and touch the "Podcasts" menu item on your iPad screen.
3. In the list of podcasts displayed, find the NetQast podcast you wish to listen to and touch the podcast name.
4. The display now shows the podcast episodes that are available for listening. Touch the podcast episode you wish to listen to.
5. The podcast episode will immediately start playing on your iPad device.
